Public Relations

I have written PR material from almost the very beginning, as my trade-magazine work put me in touch with companies' public safety products and services. Most visibly, I have written Police & Security News' annual Body Armor Updates since 2004.

This experience gave me a leg up as I began work for Arate Communications Consulting, a company that provides PR for architecture firms. For the last two years, I have performed project management and editing services for Arate. I specialize in projects that deal with law enforcement and corrections buildings, healthcare facilities, and schools.
